Errors

Error format and status codes.

Errors return a JSON body with a machine-readable code and a human-readable message:

Status	Code	Meaning
400	invalid_request	Body isn’t multipart/form-data, or a parameter is invalid (missing_file, invalid_model).
401	invalid_api_key	Key missing, malformed or revoked.
413	file_too_large	Audio exceeds 25 MB.
429	rate_limited	Too many requests — back off and retry.
502	inference_failed	Temporary model error. Safe to retry.
